When I first moved to Truckee, I was single with two kids, (1st grade and 5th grade), and I wasn't making enough money at the time to hire a babysitter to go out very often. My visits to Truckee now typically include a nice drink with lunch or dinner!

On a recent stay with my friend at her Donner Lake cabin, we stopped off at the Bar of America on our way back to the cabin for a drink. It was a great time!
