North Tahoe Arts is kicking off another Open Studio Tour. This free event runs Thursday through Sunday, July 12, 13, 14, & 15 from 10am to 5pm.
Area residents and day trippers are invited to experience the evolution of a piece from creative spark to finished product through demonstration and dialog with 28 of the region's finest artists.
Studios are open throughout the region from Incline Village to Tahoe City, out to Truckee and points in between. Maps are available at the Art Center in Tahoe City, at all of the artist studios, at Mountain Hardware, the California Visitor's Center, and downtown at the Better Homes & Garden's Real Estate office. You can also follow the brightly colored ARTour signs.
In Truckee, please stop by Tom Beebe's Woodworking Studio at 10434 River Park Place, Building 2, Suite 3 where you can view the work of five artists at one location, including watercolors by Eva Stramer-Nichols, Oils by Loreen Thomas, Prints by Sue Gross, Glassworks by Pam Sutton, and woodwork by Tom Beebe.
Don't miss this great opportunity to meet artists in their unique working environment. Each artist has a distinctive style and a variety of price points are represented.
