Truckee Churches

No matter what your religion is, there are many Truckee Churches to choose from. When we lived in Truckee, we attended the Faith Baptist Church, that was meeting in the Glenshire/Devonshire Clubhouse, because we lived in Glenshire.

My son, Ryan attended the Sierra Bible Church Christian School when he was in Junior High and he loved it. I was sorry to hear that they closed the Christian School.

What does the Bible say about Church attendance?

The Bible tells us to meet together as believers and to encourage one another.

Hebrews 10:25
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching. (NIV)

Even if you are just in Truckee visiting or vacationing, there are many Churches in Truckee to choose from that would be happy to have you visit them!

Here is a list of the Churches in Truckee CA, that the Truckee Travel Guide will cover in detail. The links go to the church websites if they have one. Service times are listed below, but it's a great idea to check the link in case they have made any changes to their schedules. 

• Assumption Catholic Church - Regular Services Sat 5:00pm, 6:30pm (Spanish) and Sunday Service at 9:00am. 
  
• Calvary Chapel of Truckee - Regular Service Times 10:00am - 11:30am at the Truckee High School. Midweek Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
  
• Christian Science Society - Service on Sunday at 10:00am.
• Deerfield Community Church - Service on Sunday at 10:00am.
• Faith Baptist Church - in Glenshire
• Fellowship Community Church of Truckee (formerly the First Baptist Church of Truckee) - Service Times: Sunday Morning Breakfast 9:45am and Sunday Morning Worship 10:30am
• For Goodness Sakes is a non-profit, non-denominational spirituality center providing a unique gathering place for the Truckee-Tahoe community, serving EVERYONE from the youngest children to senior citizens. Normal Hours are Mon-Friday from 10am - 6:00pm, and Sat from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
  
• Jehovah Witnesses - (I could not find a local website or resource with service times)
• Seventh Day Adventist Church - Services held Saturdays at 11:00am
• Sierra Bible Church Sunday services are at 8:30am, 10:30am and at 6:00pm. 
  
• Tahoe Forest Church Normal Service times are - Sat. 6:30pm, and Sun. at 10:00am.  
  
• Truckee Christian Center is affiliated with the Assembly of God Church - Services are on Sun. at 10:30am and Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00pm
  
• Truckee Lutheran Presbyterian Church - Regular Services are Sunday's at 9:00am. 
  
• Truckee North Tahoe Church of Christ - Services Sun. 11:00am and 6:00pm
• United Methodist Church - Church of the Mountains - Regular Services are Sunday mornings at 10:00am.
