Kings Beach

Kings Beach is an awesome town at North Lake Tahoe on Hwy 28, located between Tahoe City and Incline Village. It is a lakeside community with one beach after another all the way down Hwy 28. If you are looking for a beach town, this is it!

Known as the "Banana Belt" of North Lake Tahoe, the town has a very relaxed atmosphere! The 2010 United States Census, reported that the town population at 3,796.

• August 12 -13, 2017 - 2017 TA-HOE NALU Paddle Festival at Kings Beach State Park. Races and Beginner Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Lessons. Live Music. Event is a fundraiser for the California State Parks and Big Brother Big Sisters of Nevada County. For more details and to register!

I've always loved this sculpture of Lake Tahoe at the North Tahoe Beach!

There is not a "Beach" in Kings Beach for nothing! There are lots of Beaches along Highway 28: (links to a page for each beach coming soon!)

Fun Things to Do in Kings Beach

• Hang out at one of the great Beaches!
• Boating - every kind of boating imaginable is available for rent at North Tahoe Water Sports on the beach at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area - aqua-cycle trikes, hobie cat sail boats, kayaks (single & tandem), pedal boats, personal watercraft, sea-doos (jet skis), You can also parasail, or take a private lake tour!
• Catch a movie at the Brockway Theatre
• There are lots of cultural events & arts & crafts fairs, especially during the summer months.
• Golf at the Old Brockway Golf Course
• Miniature Golf at the Kings Beach Miniature Golf Course
• In winter, you are close by to lots of different Ski Resorts with so many winter activities to offer!

Kings Beach puts on a Summer Concert Series each Friday night in July and August, at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, behind the playground area. Music on the Beach begins Friday, June 30, 20176!! The series will run Friday nights from 6:00-8:30pm through September 1, 2017, excluding August 11. Here is the line up:
