Truckee Wine Events

There are many Truckee Wine Events that happen in the Truckee and surrounding area either on an annual basis, or just to celebrate a certain event or occasion. If you read my Truckee wine page, you know that I am a big fan of wine, so I do my best to attend as many of these events that I can!

This page will highlight the Annual Truckee Wine Events that happen each year in the area! The details of these events and other wine events can be found in the Truckee Travel Guide's Event Calendar. If you are putting on an event, and I don't yet have your info. in the calendar, it is easy to enter your own Event which will have it's own page on this website.

Soroptimist Wine & Restaurant Faire 

What: Soroptimist Wine & Restaurant Faire Fundraiser

When: Saturday, June 1, 2024

Time: 5:00pm - 7:30pm

Location: Coyote Moon Golf Course, 10685 Northwoods Blvd, Truckee, CA

Cost: $60 / $50 early bird until May 24, 2024. Purchase tickets online at https://e.givesmart.com/events/AXt/

What is included: Wine and beer tasting, and culinary delights prepared by local restaurants and caterers.

Details: There will be a silent auction, raffle, and live music.

Proceeds benefit: The Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner. 

Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop

What: Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop 

When: Saturday, October 5, 2024

Time: The time is scheduled from Noon - 4pm.

Cost: $ 70 in advance / $85 day of the event

What is included: Tickets include tastings with over 30 wineries, unlimited food sampling (while supplies last), commemorative wine glass, and a 2024 Wine, Walk & Shop Program & Map!

Details: You can walk around the Downtown Commercial Row, full of it's quaint shops, while tasting the various wine options, and food samplings by chefs of the best restaurants and caterers in the Truckee and local area. 1,000 people are expected to attend!

Northstar Village Wine Walks

The Northstar Village Wine Walks occur on the last Saturday of each month in the summer

I attended some of these wine events a few years back. The wine was awesome, I talked to some great people, and they typically had a band playing, so it was great to sit outside around a fire and listen to the music.

Palisades Tahoe Annual Art, Wine, & Music Festival

What: Palisades Tahoe - Annual Art, Wine & Music Festival

When: Sat/Sun July ? TBA

Time: TBA

Where: Village at Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley, CA

Cost: TBA

Details: Complementing the art and music, a wine tasting, showcasing twelve exquisite wineries, will be offered daily from 2 to 5pm and includes a commemorative wine glass. All proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit (TBA).

The Village will come alive as artists, craft makers, performers, and musicians come to participate in this two day annual events. The event will feature three performance stages, restaurants, shops, and fine art booths and exhibits.

Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic

What: Tahoe City Wine Walk

Date: June 7-8, 2024

Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Location: Chalet Blanc, 705 N. Lake Blvd #1,  Tahoe City, CA

Cost: $65 + processing fee through Eventbrite

Details: Sip, Shop and Explore Tahoe City along its scenic, lakeside sidewalks while tasting wines and sampling delicious morsels from acclaimed Tahoe restaurants and caterers. Fundraiser for the nonprofit Tahoe City Downtown Association
